    The campaign for Kwikset was found in why people use locks, not how. It's not the brand new TV, the laptop or material items that we cherish.

    Memories, experiences, the little marks on hardwood floors that tell stories — these are the things we want to protect. Because ultimately, these are more than possessions, and Kwikset, for us, is more than protection.

  • Etch-a-sketch
    Growing up, we dream of dreaming, making, creating the wonders of the world. How was the Golden Gate Bridge even created, designed, fathomed? For Etch-a-sketch, creation is a lifelong process. The Golden Gate Bridge's of the world weren't spontaneously made. Etch. Shake. Repeat.

  • MapQuest
    Our conception of maps is inherently defined by our experiences in the world. Maps, grids, boundaries have always been in culture. Sure, in the 12th century we thought the world was flat, but the premise of boundaries and grids still existed.

    What happens if we take the designed, thought-out system of maps we have, and make it tangible to us? MapQuest doesn't merely direct or provide a giant repository of information; it grounds the abstraction of maps into reality.

    STUDENT WORK

    Below is a campaign for Harry and David that I worked on with creative partner Skylar Ivancie.

    The ads used self-deprecating humor that appeals to the target demographic of Harry & David - discerning, refined women who want to show love ones how much they are valued.

    Billboards would be placed in strategic locations in such as the highway from New York City to Upstate New York.

  • Google Earth
    I remember growing up, and wishing that I could travel the world. I think we've experienced a moment when using Google Earth where we traverse the world, and for a split second we forgot that we're not looking at a program. We feel like we're there. We're touching the Eiffel Tower. We're floating over the Pyramids. Maybe in reality we're drinking coffee at work, procrastinating the laundry list of to-do items, but Google Earth lets us be where we wish to be.

  • Atelier
    Atelier is spec work and a project created at the University of Colorado Boulder for the Technology, Arts, and Media Program. The work is meant to illustrate my abilities in front end design, UI/UX, and back-end technologies such as PHP and MySQL.

    Project was created in a team with Garrett Combes and Katie Porter.

    About the project:
    Atelier is a tool to help classify your style. Through the discovery survey, atelier evaluates the user's fashion preference and displays a relevant seasonal lookbook. Using an integrated Google Map, you can search for stores that cater to your personal style.
